BLM to Conduct Beaty Butte Wild Horse Gather

News Release: LAKEVIEW, Ore. - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Lakeview District will begin a wild horse gather on or about Dec. 1, 2022. The gather will be conducted in the Beaty Butte Herd Management Area (HMA). The gather will be conducted using the bait and water trap method; no helicopters will be used. The BLM plans to gather approximately 50 horses, with 25 permanently removed.
