CBP AMO, the Air and Marine Operations division of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, posted a series of updates on its official Twitter account in July 2026, focusing on border enforcement activities and recruitment efforts.

On July 18, CBP AMO issued a public reminder about ongoing border security measures, stating, “Reminder: The border is closed, and the law is being enforced! https://t.co/c6ywJkthLk”.

The agency followed up with a recruitment message on July 21, encouraging potential applicants to join their ranks: “You ready? Apply today! https://t.co/uByifU9QMA”.

Later that same day, CBP AMO reported an interdiction operation near San Diego. According to the post from July 21, “INTERDICTED! On July 19, at approximately 11:05 AM, the Joint Harbor Operations Center in San Diego detected a vessel crossing the Maritime Boundary Line near Point Loma. A San Diego Air and Marine Branch Coastal Interceptor Vessel crew operating in the region quickly responded,”.

CBP AMO operates as part of U.S. Customs and Border Protection under the Department of Homeland Security. The division conducts maritime and aerial surveillance operations to prevent illegal activities along U.S. borders and coasts. Their social media posts often serve both as public information tools and as recruitment outreach for new personnel.
