U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations (CBP AMO) shared updates regarding enforcement activities in Florida through a series of posts on its official Twitter account.

On August 3, 2026, CBP AMO reported an incident involving their West Palm Beach Marine Unit. According to the post, “CAUGHT! Our West Palm Beach Marine Unit encountered a vessel fishing 1 nautical mile east of Lake Worth Inlet on Aug. 2. During the boarding, Marine Interdiction agents identified two Guatemalan nationals without proper documentation to be in the U.S. The pair were arrested and https://t.co/aotsCyqW7s” (August 3, 2026).

Shortly after, the agency published another post containing only emojis: ” https://t.co/5Yh4q0Ui1K” (August 3, 2026).

The following day, CBP AMO reiterated its mission with a statement, “Unapologetically protecting America 24/7 https://t.co/wBTzfJzs5h” (August 4, 2026).

CBP Air and Marine Operations is responsible for providing maritime and aerial law enforcement support to safeguard U.S. borders and prevent illegal entry or activities along coastal regions. The Lake Worth Inlet is located in Palm Beach County, Florida, serving as an access point between the Atlantic Ocean and inland waterways.
