According to a post dated July 27, 2026, CBP stated, “Don’t get stuck with a messy jersey! Officers from the Houston Trade Enforcement Team have seized nearly 20,000 fake FIFA World Cup items including jerseys, shorts, shot glasses, hand fans, soccer balls, whiskey decanters and even soccer jerseys for dogs.”
