U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) posted a series of updates on its official Twitter account regarding recent enforcement actions in Del Rio, Texas. The tweets provide details about an incident involving the apprehension of a U.S. citizen with an outstanding felony warrant.

On July 29, 2026, CBP reported, “Earlier this month, CBP officers in Del Rio, Texas, stopped a vehicle being driven by a U.S. citizen. Biometric verification confirmed that the driver had an outstanding felony warrant for aggravated sexual assault of a child issued by the Val Verde County Sheriff’s Office in Del”.
