News Release: IDAHO FALLS, Idaho - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will be issuing Christmas tree permits beginning Nov. 14 through Dec. 24, 2022. The permits, which are for Christmas trees on public lands managed by the BLM in southeastern Idaho, are $10 each with a limit of one per family. Please note that tag prices and restrictions are different for trees cut on U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service lands.

News Release: LAS VEGAS - The Bureau of Land Management Pahrump Field Office is seeking public comments on the proposed Copper Rays Solar Project in Nye County, Nevada. The Copper Rays Solar Project would consist of the construction, operation, and eventual decommissioning of photovoltaic solar modules and associated facilities necessary to generate up to 700 megawatts of electricity on 5,127 acres of public land southeast of Pahrump, Nevada.

News Release: Lake Havasu City, Ariz. -The Bureau of Land Management’s Colorado River District will conduct prescribed burning near Parker, Arizona, between November and March, as weather and fuel conditions allow. The burn area is located seven miles northeast of Parker and one-half mile west of Parker Dam Road near Crossroads, on the California side of the Colorado River.

News Release: FARMINGTON, N.M. - The Bureau of Land Management Farmington Field Office has released the proposed Chaco Area Withdrawal Environmental Assessment for a 30-day public review and comment period. The environmental assessment analyzes impacts associated with withdrawing federal minerals from leasing in a ten-mile buffer surrounding Chaco Culture National Historical Park for 20 years.

News Release: WASHINGTON - The Bureau of Reclamation today announced $20 million in funding from President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law for endangered species recovery and conservation in the Colorado River Basin. Project funding will support the Upper Colorado River Endangered Fish Recovery Program, San Juan River Basin Recovery Implementation Program and Lower Colorado River Multi-Species Conservation Program.
