Public Lands Day Cleanup
News Release: Join park staff and volunteers for National Public Lands Day on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., for a garbage cleanup of the historic Friendship Hill estate. National Public Lands Day is a day of community service across the country. For Friendship Hill National Historic Site’s service project, cleanup crews will focus on the sections adjoining Route 166 through the park, park roads, and 10 miles of hiking trails.
