The final vote completes the last step in the historic efforts to remove a term from federal use that has historically been used as an offensive ethnic, racial and sexist slur, particularly for Indigenous women.

Park Staff Conduct Major Renovations to Yahoo Falls Picnic Area
News Release: Park staff have completed the repair and rehabilitation of Yahoo Falls Picnic Area. Fifteen picnic sites received fresh gravel pads, new picnic tables and cooking grills. Trails leading to each site were also resurfaced. Parking areas at each picnic site were repaired and the large picnic pavilion was repaired and painted. The picnic table fire rings, grills, seating, and picnic tables were all replaced.

Upcoming Single-Lane Closures on the Spur, September 12th through 22nd
