Tanner Thomas Rokes, age 36, from Manson, Iowa, pled guilty on July 15 in federal court in Sioux City to one count of conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.
According to court documents, Rokes admitted that from 2021 to July 2025 in Webster County, Iowa, he was involved in distributing over five pounds of methamphetamine. In May 2025, law enforcement officers received information identifying Rokes as a pound-level distributor. Officers subsequently made multiple controlled purchases of methamphetamine from him.
On July 15, 2025, officers stopped Rokes while he was driving without a valid driver’s license. Before stopping his car, officers observed him throw 80 grams of methamphetamine out the window. After stopping the vehicle, officers found additional methamphetamine inside and recovered the discarded drugs.
