The National Federation of Independent Business Georgia Political Action Committee will send a survey to its members in August asking whether the committee should endorse candidates in several statewide races or make no endorsement at all, according to a July 29 announcement.
The organization said the survey will arrive by email and encouraged members to watch their inboxes. The survey is part of NFIB’s One Member, One Vote program, which ensures that every member business has an equal voice regardless of size or type. “That same principle applies to the PAC endorsement survey,” the organization said.
Members will be asked for their views on races for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state, commissioner of agriculture, commissioner of insurance and safety fire, and commissioner of labor.
The NFIB Georgia PAC said member input is important as it considers which candidates to support in these key statewide positions. The organization emphasized that each member’s opinion matters in determining endorsements.
“Your opinion matters. Watch your inbox, and make your voice heard,” the announcement stated.
