Hunt, Jr., NPS Midwest Archeological Center, and Annalies Corbin, PAST Foundation for the Marshall/Firehole Hotel Underwater Archaeology Project at Yellowstone National Park. NPS Director Fran Mainella presented the award to Dr. Hunt and Dr. Corbin at the George Wright Society conference in San Diego.

News Release: Wheatland, Wyo. - The Bureau of Land Management’s Wheatland Off-Range Corral is reopening for wild horse and burro adoptions this spring after a yearlong closure. To celebrate its reopening, the BLM is offering approximately 700 wild horses and burros in an online adoption event scheduled for March 13-20. More wild horses may be included for adoption prior to the event.

A presentation was made on April 18, 2001, during an annual meeting of NPS archeologists in New Orleans.
