News Release: ASHEVILLE, N.C. - A Cherokee, N.C. man convicted of second degree murder was sentenced to 168 months in prison today, announced Dena J. King, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina. Yalegwo Ki Sadongei, 21, an enrolled member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, was also ordered to serve five years of supervised release after he completes his prison term.

News Release: MIAMI - Doyle Van Roan, 64, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Donald L. Graham to 120 months in prison for drug trafficking. Roan previously pled guilty to possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

News Release: LAS VEGAS - A Mohave Valley, Ariz., resident was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Gloria M. Navarro to five years and 10 months in prison followed by two years of supervised release for orchestrating a fraudulent adult adoption business scheme which promised U.S. citizenship in exchange for money. In addition to imprisonment, Thayer was ordered to pay $852,355 in restitution to his victims.
