News Release: Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, today announced that AMIN HASAN, 44, of Stamford, was sentenced yesterday by U.S. District Judge Michael P. Shea in Hartford to 24 months of imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, for unlawful possession of a firearm. Judge Shea ordered Hasan to serve the first six months of his supervised release in a halfway house.
