Today, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV), Chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, took to the Senate floor to urge his colleagues to support the nomination of Dr. Asmeret Berhe to be Director of the Office of Science at the Department of Energy, who was later confirmed by a vote of 54-45.
