Whitney sentenced Brandon Eugene Massey, 38, of Blacksburg, S.C., to 151 months in prison, for conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, announced Dena J. A local man, Terrell Trammell, age 28, was sentenced on February 24, 2023 to 29 years and four months years in prison, followed by a 5-year term of supervised release, for conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute fentanyl and heroin, distribution of fentanyl, possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl, possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and assaulting, impeding, or interfering with a federal officer. Trammell was convicted by a federal jury following a four-day trial in November 2022.
