Second Century Ventures, the strategic investment arm of the National Association of Realtors, announced on July 28 the acceptance of eight companies into its 2026 REACH Commercial program. This marks the eighth cohort since the program’s launch in 2019, which is dedicated to scaling solutions for commercial real estate.

The selected companies offer innovations across several areas, including store-level sales data and shopper analytics, energy management and utility cost reduction, package logistics and delivery management, parking operations and revenue optimization, commercial tenant cash flow intelligence, retail leasing activation, biometric security access control, and payment automation infrastructure. Dave Garland, managing partner of Second Century Ventures, said: “Great technology doesn’t wait for an easy market. It shows up when money is tight and everyone’s looking for a way through. That’s exactly what these eight companies do: get owners paid faster, run buildings leaner, and turn dead space into revenue.”

The cohort includes CenterCheck (sales monitoring), Embue (AI-powered utility savings), HelloPackage (package management), Parkquility (parking management), RentFlow (rent-payment intelligence), Shortlyst (short-term retail activations), SKLUT (facial recognition access platform), and SnapRefund (payment automation for insurers). Bob Gillespie, managing partner of REACH Commercial, said: “Our 2026 REACH Commercial cohort emerged from the most competitive applicant pool we’ve seen to date. What stood out was the breadth of challenges being solved—from payments, parking, security, and energy to retail leasing and data-driven decision making. This cohort of companies aren’t just promising ideas; they have real customers, real revenue, and the traction to scale. We’re excited to help accelerate that growth across our network.”

REACH provides participants with education opportunities, mentorship programs, exclusive networking events, and significant exposure within the global real estate marketplace.

According to the official website, the National Association of Realtors functions as a leading trade association headquartered in Chicago with an additional office in Washington D.C., encompassing around 1,200 local boards as well as state associations. The organization supports diversity within its profession while empowering members through resources such as research statistics, advocacy, education, news, consumer guides on homebuying processes, and preserving property rights.
