Bills under consideration include the Special Education Administration Protection Act, which would prohibit transferring certain Department of Education offices to other federal agencies; the College Transparency Act; the 21st Century Dyslexia Act; the RISE Act; the State-Based Loan Awareness Act; the READ Act; the Emergency Savings Enhancement Act; the Railroad Retirement Board Stability Act; and the Health Information Privacy Reform Act.
The committee’s agenda reflects its role in legislating on public health, education, workforce issues, and retirement programs.
