The committee is scheduled to consider nominees for Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response at the Department of Health and Human Services, Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Secretary of the Department of Labor.
According to an announcement from the committee, Sean Kaufman has been nominated for Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response at the Department of Health and Human Services. Erica Schwartz is nominated to serve as Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Keith Sonderling is up for consideration as Secretary of Labor. The meeting will take place at 10:00 AM Eastern Time (9:00 AM Central Time) in room 430 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
