Bipartisan leaders of the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act, including U.S. Senators Jim Risch, Richard Blumenthal, Katie Britt, Jeanne Shaheen, and Roger Wicker, will host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for a meeting with supporters of the legislation on July 28 at 6 p.m. ET in the Mansfield Room (S-207) in the U.S. Capitol.
The meeting with President Zelenskyy will be closed to press. However, following the session, the senators plan to hold a brief media availability from the same location at approximately 7:15 p.m. ET.
The event is part of ongoing efforts by Senate leaders to move forward on major sanctions targeting Russia and Iran through proposed legislation named after Senator Lindsey O. Graham. A livestream of the media availability will be provided for those unable to attend in person.
