News Release: WASHINGTON -- Senate Finance Committee Chairman William V. Roth, Jr. (R-DE) today announced that the Committee will meet Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. in 215 Dirksen Senate Office Building, to mark up H.R. 4844, the Railroad Retirement and Survivors' Improvement Act of 2000 and the Community Renewal and New Markets Act of 2000. The mark up of these two bills was scheduled for today, but is postponed until tomorrow.
