 SCHEDULE FOR WEEK OF DECEMBER 1

News Release: Washington, D.C. - The Subcommittee on Energy will be conducting one hearing. The Subcommittee on Energy will hold a hearing on, Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Paducah Information Age Park in Paducah, Kentucky. The purpose of the hearing is to receive testimony regarding cleanup at the Department of Energy’s Paducah plant in Paducah, Kentucky. The invited witnesses are: Panel One Robin M. Nazzaro


News Release: Restored riparian wetland buffers retained or removed at least 60 percent of the nitrogen and 65 percent of the phosphorus that entered from an adjacent site where manure was applied, according to results of a nine-year study by Agricultural Research Service scientists in Tifton, Ga., and cooperators at the University of Georgia.
