"Winter Signs" Weekend Snowshoe Programs Offered at Glacier

News Release: WEST GLACIER, MONT. - With the cold of the winter season upon us, it is hard not to wonder how plants and animals survive the rigor and challenges of this difficult season. Beginning on Sunday, January 8, 2006, the public is invited to Glacier National Park to join a park interpreter for a two-hour snowshoe exploration of the winter environment to discover the answers. These guided snowshoe walks are suitable for visitors of all ages and abilities.
