Denali Park Road Open to Mile 30 as of Sept 19, 2007

News Release: Summer has transitioned into fall in interior Alaska, and Denali National Park and Preserve has also transitioned into its quieter season. The buses are done operating for the yeare, and the Denali Park Road is now open for travel by private vehicles to the Teklanika Rest Stop at Mile 30, weather permitting. The road will remain open to the rest stop until snow closes it for the season at park headquarters (Mile 3).
