Oil and Gas Well Plugging - FONSI

News Release: Oneida, TN - The National Park Service, Southeast Regional Director has approved the Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for Oil and Gas Well Plugging and Reclamation. This document records the decision of the National Park Service to plug and reclaim orphaned oil and gas wells within the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area, including 45 known wells. This project is described under Alternative B in the Environmental Assessment for Oil and Gas Well Plugging.
