Banks was sentenced after his March 24, 2011, guilty plea of one count of illegal possession of a machine gun and one count of illegal distribution of explosive materials. Banks was charged with the above offenses on Feb. 14, 2011.

Wright Brothers National Memorial Visitor Center Closed Due to Fire Damage

News Release: Superintendent Mike Murray announced today the Wright Brothers National Memorial Visitor Center will be closed until further notice. A mid-morning fire in an air handling unit motor at the facility was extinguished and there were no injuries reported. All staff and park visitors were evacuated from the building.
