At least 73 other visitors also witnessed the competition, making it one of the best-attended events of the year. Prizes were awarded to the kids catching the three biggest fish. Claiming first prize was seven-year-old Kaitlyn Massengale of Lancing, who caught a 10-ounce smallmouth bass.
