Buffalo Attorney Pleads Guilty to Submitting False Tax Returns

News Release: Buffalo, N.Y.-- -The United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of New York announced today that Lisa M. Yaeger, 49, of Buffalo, N.Y., pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara to three misdemeanor charges of submitting false documents to the Internal Revenue Service. Each charge carries a maximum penalty of one year in prison, a fine of $100,000 or both.
