Lincoln Man Sentenced for Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine

News Release: On Aug. 20, 2014, Joshua Dain Pearce, 30, of Lincoln, was sentenced to 130 months in prison for conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute methamphetamine. Following the prison term, Pearce will serve four years on supervised release.

South Dakota Man Sentenced For Clean Air Act Violation

News Release: COEUR D'ALENE - John Wilhelm Myre, 55, of South Dakota, was sentenced yesterday to three years of supervised release and 90 hours of community service for negligent endangerment under the federal Clean Air Act, U.S. Attorney Wendy J. Olson announced. U.S. Magistrate Judge Candy W. Dale also ordered Myre to pay a $3,000 fine. Myre pleaded guilty to the charge on March 18, 2014.


Dalton Man Faces Child Pornography Charges

News Release: Steven M. Dettelbach, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio, announced today that Ryan P. Collins, a 31 year-old male from Dalton, Ohio, was charged with receiving, distributing and possessing visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.


News Release: Charleston, W.Va. - United States Attorney Booth Goodwin announced that Joseph Hurley, 28, of Man, West Virginia was sentenced today to five years’ probation, with five months to be served in community confinement for the federal offense of Access Device Fraud. Mr. Hurley was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $5,766 dollars, the full amount of the loss resulting from the fraud.

Chip Seal Project On Trail Ridge Road To Begin On August 25

News Release: On Monday, Aug. 25, weather permitting, a chip seal project will begin on Trail Ridge Road on the east side of Rocky Mountain National Park from Rainbow Curve to Alpine Visitor Center, an approximate 11-mile section. During the chip seal project, traffic will be reduced to one lane, and 30 minute delays should be expected. The project will take place through Friday, August 29. Cyclists and motorcyclists should be prepared for rough road conditions.
