Committee Democrats Request Hearing on Highway Funding

News Release: WASHINGTON - Democrats on the Ways and Means Committee today sent a letter to Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) requesting a hearing on bipartisan solutions to funding for the Federal Highway Trust Fund program. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that the Highway Trust Fund will fall below a critical funding point in mid-July, and without Congressional action will run out of funds entirely shortly thereafter.
