Naples Man Pleads Guilty To $7 Million Investment Scheme

News Release: Fort Myers, Florida - United States Attorney A. Lee Bentley, III announces that Dorian Garcia (30, Naples) today pleaded guilty to wire fraud for operating an investment scheme involving nearly 100 victims who invested more than $7 million. Garcia faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison, and he will be required to pay restitution in the amount of $3,108,734.52, representing losses to victims as a result of his scheme. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
