Cliff Jumping Accident Oct 2015

News Release: On the afternoon of October 9, 2015 National Park Service Glen Canyon Dispatch received a report of a cliff jumping accident in the Coconino County portion of Face Canyon on Lake Powell. A 28 year old male visitor from Jackson Wyoming was reportedly attempting a cliff jump of approximately 90 feet. Witnesses stated that after entering the water he did not resurface.
