Water Level at Potomac River Dams 4 and 5

News Release: Williamsport, Md. ­- Due to high water flow in the Potomac River the inspections of Dam # 4 and Dam #5 were delayed. The inspections were originally scheduled for August 1.Once the water flow diminished late this week, it allowed for a water level drawdown and a visual inspection of both dams proceeded on Thursday and Friday, August 4th and 5th. The lower water levels will be maintained until Monday afternoon on August 8th in order to complete all required inspections.

News Release: BOISE - Jeremy Blaine Harris, 39, of Boise, Idaho, was sentenced yesterday to 70 months in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine, U.S. Attorney Wendy J. Olson announced.
