Medford Felon Sentenced to 10 Years Federal Prison for Possessing Firearm

News Release: MEDFORD, Ore. - On Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, U.S. District Judge Ann Aiken sentenced Carl Gene Dunlap, 40, of Medford, Oregon, to 10 years in federal prison, following his conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Dunlap’s 10-year sentence is the maximum allowed under federal law. Dunlap was also ordered to serve three years of supervised release after he completes his prison term.
