News Release: MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN - Thomas Kevin Hamel, 67, of St. Ignace, Michigan, was sentenced to 180 months in federal prison for sexual exploitation of a minor, U.S. Attorney Patrick A. Miles, Jr. announced today. In addition to the prison term, U.S. District Judge R. Allan Edgar ordered Hamel to serve five years of supervised release from prison, to pay a fine of $25,000 and a $100 special assessment.
