The Court also ordered him to pay restitution to several victims. Lauman pleaded guilty in February 2016.


Danbury Resident Sentenced to Prison for Stealing from Investors

News Release: Deirdre M. Daly, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that ALEXANDER BERGEN, 23, of Danbury, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Vanessa L. Bryant in Hartford to 24 months of imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, for stealing more than $280,000 from individuals who invested in his internet business.

Milford Resident Sentenced to 10 Years On Bath Salts and Gun Charges

News Release: Bangor, Maine: United States Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II announced that Edwin Hamel, 60, of Milford was sentenced today in U.S. District Court by Judge John A. Woodcock, Jr. to 10 years in prison and three years of supervised release for conspiring to distribute bath salts and being a felon in possession of firearms. He pleaded guilty on Nov. 16, 2015.

News Release: ALBUQUERQUE - Steve Coleman, 56, of Thoreau, N.M., pled guilty today in federal court in Albuquerque, N.M., to violating the federal firearms laws. Under the terms of his plea agreement, Coleman will be sentenced to 84 months in prison followed by not more than three years of supervised release.

News Release: WASHINGTON - The National Park Service (NPS) today announced the release of updated regulations that govern private and state-owned oil and gas rights in the National Park System. The Record of Decision and Final Rule for regulating these limited oil and gas operations, called the 9B regulations, will be published in the Federal Register on Friday. The regulations were issued more than 37 years ago and had not been updated.
