News Release: Linda Patricia Thompson, 59, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on Oct. 12, 2016, for bank robbery. Thompson was arrested in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She received 72 months of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment. This case was investigated by the Cheyenne Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Polite announced that KEVIN GONZALES, age 25, of Houston, pled guilty today to conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute over one kilogram of heroin. GONZALES is facing not less than 10 years and a maximum of life imprisonment, as well as a possible fine of up to $10,000,000. U.S. District Judge Carl J. Barbier will sentence GONZALES on Jan. 12, 2017.

Plummer Man Sentenced for Aggravated Assault and Use of a Firearm in a Crime of Violence

News Release: COEUR D’ALENE - Cruz Flechita Ramon Soto, 34, of Plummer, Idaho, was sentenced yesterday for aggravated assault and use of a firearm in a crime of violence, U.S. Attorney Wendy J. Olson announced. Soto was sentenced to 180 months in prison followed by five years supervised release. Chief U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill also ordered Soto to pay restitution in an amount to be determined later. Soto pleaded guilty on July 29, 2016.
