BLM Seeks Public Comment on Proposed Trail System for Recapture Canyon

News Release: MONTICELLO, Utah - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah Monticello Field Office is seeking public comment on an environmental assessment (EA) analyzing a proposed trail system for Recapture Canyon near Blanding, Utah. The EA responds to San Juan County’s application for a right-of-way that would provide additional off-road, motorized travel opportunities in the Recapture Canyon area. The public comment period will be open for 45 days and comments can be submitted online.

Vilardo sentenced Andres Martinez, 30, a citizen of the Dominican Republic and an inmate at Attica Correctional Facility, to 45 months in prison for his role in a conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, heroin and marijuana. The defendant’s wife, Elizabeth Camue Martinez, was sentenced to 34 months in prison for her role in the conspiracy.
