Navajo Man from Kirtland Pleads Guilty to Federal Assault Charge

News Release: ALBUQUERQUE - Gary Begay, 23, an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation who resides in Kirtland, N.M., pled guilty today in federal court in Albuquerque, N.M., to an assault charge. Sentencings for February 13 - February 16, 2017

News Release: John Patrick Nordmann, 59, of Laramie, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl, on Feb. 16, 2017, for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Nordmann was arrested in Laramie, Wyoming. He received 36 months of imprisonment, to be followed by two years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and a $250.00 fine. This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
