Ledyard Man Who Distributed Heroin Involved in Overdose Sentenced to 30 Months in Federal Prison

News Release: Deirdre M. Daly, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that TIMOTHY PAPROCKI, 33, of Ledyard, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Michael P. Shea in Hartford to 30 months of imprisonment, followed by four years of supervised release, for distributing heroin involved in an overdose death last year.


Brandon Scott Woodley to Serve A Total of 138 Months in Prison Following Shooting in West Knoxville Hotel Parking Lot

News Release: KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - On July 12, 2017, Brandon Scott Woodley, 35, of Knoxville, Tennessee, was sentenced by the Honorable Leon R. Jordan, Senior U.S. District Judge, to serve 120 months in prison for knowingly possessing ammunition after having been previously convicted of a felony. Woodley was convicted in December 2016 after a jury trial in federal court.


News Release: CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Two inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution at McDowell pleaded guilty today to possessing weapons in prison, announced United States Attorney Carol Casto. Antonio Freeman, 30, entered his guilty plea to possession of a weapon by an inmate. In a separate prosecution, Robert Aguon, 42, also pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon by an inmate.

F. “Pete" Peterman, III, United States Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia, announces Clinton Scott Bass, age 34, of Hahira, Georgia, was sentenced today by Senior United States District Court Judge Hugh Lawson in Valdosta. Mr. Bass was sentenced to 120 months imprisonment, the maximum sentence under the statute and guidelines, for attempting to receive and transport explosive materials with intent to kill, injure or intimidate.

News Release: Lewis Davenport, age 40, was recently sentenced to serve 48 months imprisonment for committing aggravated identify theft and conspiring to commit theft on federal land. Court documents show that Davenport and other individuals broke into several unoccupied cars parked within Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area last summer.
