Lost Nation Man Sentenced for Theft of Government Property

News Release: DAVENPORT, IA - On June 23, 2017, Brian Ronald Coatesheather Jean Reekr, age 39, of Lost Nation, Iowa, was sentenced by Chief United States District Court Judge John A. Jarvey to five years probation for theft of government property and making false statements, announced United States Attorney Kevin E. VanderSchel. Coates was ordered to pay restitution of $14,235.55 to the United States Railroad Retirement Board and pay a $200 special assessment to the Crime Victims’ Fund.
