News Release: A former employee of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) pleaded guilty today in federal court in Washington, D.C., to making false statements in government filings in order to conceal his prohibited trading of options and other securities, announced Acting Assistant Attorney General Kenneth A. Blanco of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division and Inspector General Carl W. Hoecker of the SEC.


News Release: The Justice Department reached a settlement agreement today with Provisional Staffing Solutions (Provisional), a temporary staffing agency located in Cranston, Rhode Island.  The agreement resolves the department’s investigation into whether Provisional discriminated against non-U.S. citizens when checking their work authorization documents, in violation of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).
