South Jersey Business Owner Charged with Tax Fraud

News Release: Chung Lam, age 39, of Sicklerville, New Jersey, was charged today by Information with 12 counts of failure to collect and pay taxes, in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 7202, announced United States Attorney William M. McSwain. Lam owned a C&L Labor, a company that provided temporary workers to other companies. Lam paid hundreds of its employees in cash, as “under the table" wages on which no employment taxes were withheld.
