USDA Settles a Case with Casey Wilmot Resulting in $2,375 Penalty

News Release: Washington - On July 11, 2018, Casey Wilmot entered into a stipulation agreement with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Fair Trade Practices Program (FTPP) for allegedly operating after his bond terminated in violation of the Packers and Stockyards (P&S) Act. At that time, Wilmot paid a penalty of $2,375. On July 20, 2018, Wilmot provided proof of proper bond coverage.
