Buffalo Woman Indicted On Heroin Charge In Case Involving Overdose Death

New Britain Man Sentenced to More Than 5 Years in Federal Prison for Supplying Crack to Hartford Gang

News Release: John H. Durham, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that MICHAEL CHAPMAN, also known as “Nice" and “Mizzo," 26, of New Britain, was sentenced today by Chief U.S. District Judge Janet C. Hall in New Haven to 66 months of imprisonment, followed by five years of supervised release, for supplying crack cocaine to a Hartford drug trafficking organization.


Bank Robber Pleads Guilty

News Release: U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans announced that CASEY JOHNSON, age 27, has pleaded guilty to one count of Bank Robbery with a Firearm in violation of Title 18, U.S.C. Sections 2113(a) and (d) and 2. The defendant faces a maximum sentence of 25 years in the Bureau of Prisons, five years of supervised release, a fine of up to $250,000, and restitution to the victim bank in this case.
