Frank announced that Jordan Richard, 25, of New Vineyard, Maine, was sentenced today in U.S. District Court by Judge Nancy Torresen to 160 months years in prison and three years of supervised release for conspiring to distribute cocaine, heroin, fentanyl and oxycodone and discharging a firearm in relation to that conspiracy.

Capulin Volcano Reopens with New Operating Hours

News Release: With the enactment of the continuing resolution, staff at Capulin Volcano National Monument will begin adjusted operations on Jan. 28, 2019. Due to a shortage in staffing, operating hours will be 8:30am-4:30pm Thursdays-Mondays. The monument will be closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays until positions can be refilled. Currently staff is working diligently to safely clean sidewalks and roads of ice, snow, and rock that accumulated during the 5-week federal government shutdown.
