News Release: United States Attorney Joe Kelly announced that Edward Sherrod, Jr., age 37, was sentenced in federal court today in Omaha, Nebraska, for two counts of robbery. The Senior United States District Court Judge Laurie Smith Camp sentenced Sherrod to 8 ½ years of imprisonment. She further ordered him to pay $19,444.00 in restitution. There is no parole in the federal system. After completing his term of imprisonment, Sherrod will begin a three-year term of supervised release.
