Head out to the wild horse and burro event in Coalgate, Oklahoma

News Release: NORMAN, Okla. - The Bureau of Land Management will hold a wild horse and burro event in Coalgate, Okla., on Aug. 3, at the Mowdy Ranch Public Off-Range Pasture. The event, featuring 25 wild horses and burros, will take place on Saturday, Aug. 3, from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. As part of the event, Patty Nuernberg will be giving gentling demonstrations. Animals are eligible for adoption to a good home.

Frank announced that Carletta Willette, a/k/a “Carletta Knowlton," a/k/a “Carly," 36, of Hampden, Maine, was sentenced today in U.S. District Court by Judge John A. Woodcock, Jr. to time served (22 months) in prison and three years of supervised release for possession with the intent to distribute 28 grams or more of cocaine base, commonly known as “crack" and heroin. Willette pled guilty on March 7, 2018.
