Reclamation announces 60-day comment period for Central Valley Project south-of-delta San Luis Unit draft contracts

News Release: FRESNO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation announced today ongoing congressionally mandated contract conversions pursuant to the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act (WIIN Act). Today’s release includes three draft repayment contracts from the Central Valley Project’s south-of-delta, San Luis Unit contractors for a 60-day public comment period. These are three of 90 repayment contract conversions requested by federal Central Valley Project contractors.


Utica Fentanyl Trafficker Going To Prison

Kennedy, Jr. announced today that Clifford Billins, 41, of Utica, NY, who was convicted of conspiring to possess with intent to distribute, and distributing, fentanyl, crack cocaine, and heroin, was sentenced to serve 151 months in prison by Chief U.S. District Court Judge Frank P. Geraci, Jr.


News Release: Albuquerque, N.M. - Andrew Graham, 40, of Snowmass, Colorado, was sentenced Wednesday, August 5, to 15 months in federal prison for interstate communication of threats. In December, Graham pled guilty in federal court to sending communications threatening to kill an official with the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department as well as an attorney with a private law firm.
