Anchorage Man Sentenced for Possession of Child Pornography

News Release: Anchorage, Alaska - U.S. Attorney Bryan Schroder announced that Troy MacDermott, 36, of Anchorage, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Ralph R. Beistline to serve seven years and three months in federal prison, to be followed by a 40-year term of supervised release, for possession of child pornography. MacDermott was also ordered to pay $42,000 in restitution to the victims.
