Lincoln City Felon Sentenced to 17 Years in Federal Prison for Drug and Gun Offenses

News Release: EUGENE, Ore. - A Lincoln City, Oregon man with multiple felony convictions was sentenced to federal prison today for his role in a conspiracy to distribute large quantities of methamphetamine in and around Lincoln City and illegally possessing a firearm, announced Acting U.S. Attorney Scott Erik Asphaug. Felix Daniel Garcia-Mendoza, 28, was sentenced to 204 months in federal prison and five years’ supervised release.

Raymond Man Convicted for Attempted Possession of Child Pornography

News Release: Acting United States Attorney Jan Sharp announced that Nathaniel Walker, 33, of Raymond, Nebraska, was sentenced today in Lincoln by Chief United States District Judge John M. Gerrard for attempted possession of child pornography. Walker was sentenced to 11 years in prison and 10 years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system. Walker was additionally ordered to pay $9,000 in restitution.
